Ever since the United States has opened relations with China over 50 years ago, China has built their economy on stolen American technology. Strict border controls and product security should have been put in place the SECOND that the U.S. started relations to China.

The stock market rout on Monday is a clear consequence of not securing the technology that companies like OpenAI have spent over $10 billion building.

I think that it is simply because they have hacked OpenAI's ChatGPT code and are putting their name on it. Or, it is just based on readily-available American AI open-source code.

All the United States opening relations with China during Nixon accomplished is allowing China to steal anything and everything from the United States. DeepSeek is just doing what China's semiconductor, etc. companies do. They take what the United Sates have spent untold billions of dollars devloping and using it for free.
