"Borderlands" Suffers Bad First Reviews

Review: ‘Borderlands’ Review: Cate Blanchett is a Gunslinging Bounty Hunter in Eli Roth’s Joylessly Gonzo Adaptation of the Popular Video Game - The Hollywood Reporter

Review: ‘Borderlands’ Review: After ‘Tár,’ It’s Strange to See Cate Blanchett Slumming in a Middling Video Game Movie - Variety

Review List: Borderlands - Rotten Tomatoes

Beset by extended delays and reshoots, "Borderlands" is getting many bad reviews from many critics. The film was originally shot in 2021. Then, with original director Eli Roth unavailable, Tim Miller did reshoots. After all that, the end result sounds underwhelming, to say the least.

"Borderlands" opens tomrrow, Friday, August 9.

The game will be released this Thursday.
