Today at 4:33:33 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time is the proposed launch for the first manned mission to the International Space Station on a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Kennedy in Florida.

There are two ways to watch the launch coverage:

 • Discovery Coverage: Space Launch Live - Discovery Channel - Live broadcasts on both Discovery Channel and Science Channel.

Virgin Orbit First Launch Fails

The first launch attempt for Virgin Orbit has failed. Crew and craft are okay. The mission was to launch a payload into space from a 747.

3:15 p.m. - Virtual Demo-2 Crew engagement at Kennedy

Monday, May 25
Time TBD or one hour after Launch Readiness Review completion – Prelaunch briefing at Kennedy

Tuesday, May. 26
10 a.m. - Administrator Countdown Clock Briefing (limited in-person media only)
12:15 p.m. – NASA TV launch coverage begins for the 4:32 p.m. liftoff
6 p.m. – Administrator postlaunch news conference at Kennedy

Thursday, May. 28
11:29 a.m. – Docking (NASA Television will have continuous coverage from launch to docking)

Manned Launch NASA Social Get Together

NASA has been hosting in-person get-togethers for a decade now. During these times, however, they are doing them online, and it's easy to participate.

Just go to their Facebook page: Launch America NASA Social Answer a few questions, and get approved. You will then be able to participate. This is a great opportunity to be part of the historic launch next Wednesday, May 27, when two astronauts launch on a SpaceX rocket to the International Space Station.
